FEES

Non NHS/Private examinations – we are happy to undertake by appointment, private medicals, HGV/PSV, attendance at the travel clinic but please note that this work falls outside NHS and requires a fee, also any private certificates and form filling eg passport and driving licence also requires a fee, but you do not need an appointment for these.

 

Patient Health Information

All practice staff abide by our practice policy regarding strict confidentiality; patient consent will always be obtained when necessary. The practice adheres to the Data Protection Act which gives you a number of rights in relation to how your personal information is used, including the right to access the information we hold about you.

Appointments Schedule

We accept appointment bookings via the telephone.

If you need to see the doctor same day please telephone at 8.30am Please phone after 10am for non-emergency routine appointments. New emergency appointments are released at 8.30am each day.

Baby Clinic

Fridays 10.00am – 11.00am with Health Visitor in attendance, this clinic is only for childhood immunisations and examination. If your child is unwell make an appointment via the receptionist with the doctor.

Maternity

Antenatal Midwife Led Clinic – Alternative Fridays 9.00am-10.00am.Please contact the receptionist to arrange an appointment. Postnatal appointments can be organised during routine surgeries.

Interpreting Service

If you require an interpreter, this can be arranged via the receptionist. Please allow 7-10 working days for the arrangement of this service. In the case of an emergency please bring a family member or friend with you to act as an interpreter for you.

Cervical Smear

Recommended every 3 years for women aged 25-65 years. By appointment with our Cervical Smear Nurse.

Prescriptions

You can request prescriptions via Telephone 028 3084 8510 You must allow 48 hours for your prescription to be ready for collection at your chosen pharmacy.

Test Results

Test results can either be requested between 3.00pm-4.00pm Daily via Telephone 028 3084 8510

Home Visits

If you are too ill to come to the surgery a home visit can be requested by telephone, when the receptionist will ask you to provide details of your symptoms.Requests for house calls should be made, whenever possible, before 10:00am, so that unnecessary delays are prevented.chronically ill patients and in cases of medical emergency.If you are able to come to the surgery please do so as this saves time for both Patient and Doctor.

Out of Hours cover

Disabled access

Our premises are fully accessible to the disabled. If you require any additional assistance, please ask at reception.

Chronic Decease Clinics

Our Practice Nurse provides various clinics for the following conditions; –Asthma- COPD- Chronic Heart Decease- Diabetes- Hypertension- Long Term Care Plan Reviews- Smoking Advice, Also-WarfarinEar Syringing- Dressings.

Travel advice and immunisations
